How to apply to be guest artist

Guest demonstrators are selected by the festival committee and can be proposed by anyone.

We receive many recommendations from other artists and past festival guests.

Artists themselves can also apply.

Guests artists are selected by many criteria

• the quality of the work
• the individuality of technique
• ability to communicate to a large audience
• skill in relating to festival visitors
• the overall balance of the festival programme

All proposals are looked at by the committee and a short list is drawn up. The initial selection takes place approximately 18 months before each festival.

Applications for the 2009 festival will be taken from September 2007 to February 2008.
