Akira Yoshida

Artist Statement:

Akira Yoshida will be demonstrating how to build minigama and kamigama kilns during the Festival weekend.

Born in Tokyo, he studied at Aichi Prefectural University of Fine Arts, making a particular study of  Korean ware - by which his work is strongly influenced.
