Claire Curneen (UK)

There is an unforgettable poignancy in Claire Curneen’s forlorn white porcelain figures pierced by gold arrows or swathed with blue flowers. The work betrays the influence of her Irish origins although she now lives and works in Cardiff. She has a growing international reputation with recent showings of her work in Sao Paulo, Philadelphia, Italy and Korea.
