Nina Hole (Denmark)

Nina Hole is a Danish artist who builds enormous clay sculptures which act as their own kiln. She has developed a way of using extruded clay sheets which can support their own weight, and can be used to build large structures quickly, as well as a system to direct rising hot air inside a piece of work.

At Aberystwyth, Nina Hole will be building a 2 metre high sculpture, ready for firing at the Festival weekend.
