Ceramicist Peter Hayes began his career in Cornwall, spent a decade in Africa, and has studied traditional techniques alongside craftspeople in Korea, Japan and India. His work now builds on the techniques and methods he learned during his travels to create ceramic art that is often inspired by memories of landscapes he has seen.At the International Ceramics Festival, he will be demonstrating how to build a high quality affordable raku kiln.
