Naidee Changmoh
We are delighted to announce the first of our demonstrators for the 2015 International Ceramics Festival- Naidee Changmoh from Thailand. He is mainly known for his large scale cartoonish monk figures and he also makes free form sculptured cement huts as art living spaces. His work is influenced by Buddhism which he practices, and the joy and innocence of children. Naidee Changmoh was born in Phrae province, Thailand, and studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Chiengmai University. He started to make terracotta pottery in the 1990s, learning techniques at at Maungkung Village, Amphur Hangdong in Chiengmai.
