Jo Taylor completed a Masters in 3D Design: Ceramics, at Bath Spa University in 2012 after giving up her former career as a police woman. She makes sculptural forms from fragments of clay, each fragment containing the gesture of her hand. Visual influences include plaster ceilings, wrought iron gates and carved wood. The first part of her demonstration will involve using a potter’s wheel to make the bulk of the components for a sculpture.
